Guidelines for Usage: 1. Rotate the “R” marker rod to be aligned perpendicular to the plane of imaging. 2. Adjust the “R” marker rod forward or backward and up or down to be centered in the area to be imaged. 3. With patient sitting on CT Table, place eye frame on head of patient and make final positioning adjustments of the “R” marker rod, taking care not to pinch hair or skin with the device. 4. Hold eye frame and “R” marker rod in place with both hands as patient lowers his head into the CT scanner’s head holder. 5. Confirm that the “R” of marker rod reads correctly when viewing the patient looking upward from feet toward head (or if coronal, reads correctly when facing the patient).
